The purpose of the Data Plan Regional Data Baseline Assessment and Next Steps Report is to assess existing data collection and uses and determine what key gaps exist. The Data Plan builds upon work conducted by the University of Oregon’s Community Planning Workshop (CPW) under Task 3 of the grant, which identified (among other things) that agencies and their staffs desire data that go beyond their own core area expertise and that there is not a good way for staff to share data and findings with other staff within their own agency or with other agencies or the public. The Regional Data Baseline Assessment and Next Steps Report Data Plan will result in a regional data inventory and framework and recommendations for addressing key data gaps and challenges.
